  Khamzat Chimaev is a professional mixed martial artist from Sweden. He was born on May 1, 1994, in Chechnya, Russia.  Chimaev competes in the welterweight and middleweight divisions and is known for his aggressive fighting style and grappling skills. Khamzat Chimaev was born in the Chechen Republic of Russia but later moved to Sweden, where he began his martial arts training.  He has a background in wrestling and has competed in both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling.
