#10 Algeria



Algeria is a Muslim country in North Africa. 

Algeria is bordered to the northeast by Tunisia, to the east by Libya,

to the southeast by Niger, to the southwest by Mali, Mauritania, 

and Western Sahara, to the west by Morocco, and to the north by the Mediterranean Sea. 

It is considered part of the Maghreb region of North Africa. It has a semi-arid geography, 

with most of the population living in the fertile north and the Sahara dominating the geography of the south. 

Algeria covers an area of 2,381,741 square kilometres (919,595 sq mi), 

making it the world's tenth largest nation by area, and the largest nation in Africa, 

more than 200 times as large as the continent's smallest country, The Gambia.

Kazakhstan officially the Republic of Kazakhstan is a landlocked country located mainly in Central Asia

and partly in Eastern Europe. 

It borders Russia to the north and west, China to the east, Kyrgyzstan to the southeast, 

Uzbekistan to the south, and Turkmenistan to the southwest, with a coastline along the Caspian Sea. 

Its capital is Astana, known as Nur-Sultan from 2019 to 2022. 

Almaty, Kazakhstan's largest city, was the country's capital until 1997. 

Kazakhstan is the world's ninth-largest country by land area and the largest landlocked country in the world. 

It has a population of 19 million people and one of the lowest population densities in the world, 

at fewer than 6 people per square kilometer (16 people/sq mi).

Ethnic Kazakhs constitute a majority of the population, 

while ethnic Russians form a significant minority. 

Officially secular, Kazakhstan is a Muslim-majority country, 

although ethnic Russians in the country form a sizeable Christian community.

Argentina occupies an area more extensive than Mexico and the U.S. state of Texas combined. 

It encompasses immense plains, deserts, tundra, and forests, as well as tall mountains, rivers, 

and thousands of miles of ocean shoreline. 

Argentina also claims a portion of Antarctica, as well as several islands in the South Atlantic, 

including the British-ruled Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas).

Argentina has long played an important role in the continent’s history.

of thousands of ethnic groups and likely hundreds of languages. 
With roughly one-sixth of the world’s total population, India is the second most populous country, after China.
India is the seventh-largest country in the world, with a total area of 3,287,263 square kilometers (1,269,219 sq mi).

Australia, the smallest continent and the world's sixth-largest country.
which comprises 7,686,850 km2 (2,967,910 sq mi) (including Lord Howe Island and Macquarie Island), 
which is slightly smaller than the 48 states of the contiguous United States and 31.5 times larger than that of the United Kingdom.
Australia’s capital is Canberra, located in the southeast between the larger and more important economic and cultural centers of Sydney and Melbourne.

Brazil, officially Federative Republic of Brazil,  country of South America that occupies half the continent’s landmass. 
It is the largest country in South America and in Latin America and also the fifth largest country in the world, Brazil has a total area of 8,515,770km².

The capital city of brazil is Brasília, and its most populous city is São Paulo. 
Brazil is most well-known for the Amazon rainforest, the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, and much more, 
including the nation’s love of football (no country has won more FIFA World Cups than Brazil).

United States, officially United States of America, abbreviated U.S. or U.S.A., byname America, country in North America, 
a federal republic of 50 states. Besides the 48 conterminous states that occupy the middle latitudes of the continent, 
the United States includes the state of Alaska, at the northwestern extreme of North America, and the island state of Hawaii,
in the mid-Pacific Ocean. The conterminous states are bounded on the north by Canada, on the east by the Atlantic Ocean, 
on the south by the Gulf of Mexico and Mexico, and on the west by the Pacific Ocean. 
The United States is the fourth largest country in the world in area of 9,372,610 km2 ( 3,618,783 sq mi).
The national capital is Washington, which is coextensive with the District of Columbia, the federal capital region created in 1790.

China is a country of East Asia. It is the largest of all Asian countries and It is the world's second-most populous country 
with a population exceeding 1.4 billion. the largest population of any country in the world. 
Occupying nearly the entire East Asian landmass, it covers approximately one-fourteenth of the land area of Earth. 
Among the major countries of the world, China is surpassed in area by only Russia and Canada, and it is almost as large as the whole of Europe.
The national capital is Beijing, and the most populous city and largest financial center is Shanghai.
China has an area of about 9,706,961 km2 (3,747,877 sq mi). which makes it the third largest country in the world.

Canada’s total area of 9,984,670km² makes it the second-largest country in the world and the largest nation in North America, ahead of the USA.
For a country so large, Canada’s population is tiny. 
The UN estimates that, in 2023, Canada has a population of just 38.7 million. To put that in perspective, 
the UK has a population of 67.7 million. If space is what you’re after, Canada has it, even if it is covered in snow and ice.

The country's capital and largest city is Moscow. Saint Petersburg is Russia's cultural center and second-largest city.
