Roman Reigns, whose real name is Leati Joseph Anoa'i, is a professional wrestler who gained fame as a member of the Anoa'i wrestling family. He was born on May 25, 1985, in Pensacola, Florida, United States. Roman Reigns also known as the big dog is of Samoan and Italian descent and is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Sika Anoa'i and the older brother of former WWE wrestler Rosey.

Reigns first rose to prominence as a member of The Shield, a dominant faction in WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), alongside Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose (now known as Jon Moxley). The group made its debut in November 2012 and quickly gained popularity for their unique look, intense wrestling style, and dominant performances in the ring.

After The Shield disbanded in 2014, Roman Reigns embarked on a singles career and became known for his powerhouse wrestling style and his "Superman Punch" and "Spear" finishing moves. He has won several championships throughout his career, including the WWE Universal Championship, WWE Championship, and the United States Championship.

He is the current and longest-reigning WWE Universal Champion in his second reign and the current WWE Champion in his fourth reign.

He is also the leader of The Bloodline stable and a member of the Anoaʻi family. 

Reigns's ongoing reign of 1,257 days as Universal Champion is the fourth-longest world title reign in WWE history and the longest championship reign since 1988.

Reigns is a six-time world champion in WWE, having held the WWE Championship four times and the WWE Universal Championship twice. He is also a one-time WWE United States Champion, a one-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, a one-time WWE Tag Team Champion (with Rollins), the 2015 Royal Rumble winner, and the 2014 Superstar of the Year.
