Ronaldinho, whose full name is Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, is a retired professional football (soccer) player from Brazil. He was born on March 21, 1980, in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Ronaldinho is widely regarded as one of the most skillful and entertaining footballers of his generation.

During his career, Ronaldinho played for several top clubs around the world, including Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Barcelona, AC Milan, and Flamengo.

He was known for his exceptional dribbling skills, creative playmaking, and ability to score spectacular goals.

Ronaldinho reached the peak of his career during his time at Barcelona from 2003 to 2008.

He played a crucial role in helping the team win numerous titles, including two La Liga titles and the UEFA Champions League in 2006.

Ronaldinho was awarded the FIFA World Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005, becoming the first player since Ronaldo Nazario to win the award consecutively.

In addition to his club success, Ronaldinho was also a key player for the Brazilian national team.

He represented Brazil in several major tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup.

Ronaldinho played a vital role in the team's victory in the 2002 World Cup, where he formed a formidable attacking partnership with Ronaldo and Rivaldo.

He is the only player ever to have won a World Cup, a Copa América, a Confederations Cup, a Champions League, a Copa Libertadores and a Ballon d'Or.

After scoring two solo goals in the first 2005–06 El Clásico, Ronaldinho became the second Barcelona player, after Diego Maradona in 1983, to receive a standing ovation from Real Madrid fans at the Santiago Bernabéu. In 2009, Ronaldinho was voted "World Player of the Decade 2000s"

Ronaldinho announced his retirement from professional football in January 2018.

Despite his retirement, his impact on the sport and his status as one of the greatest footballers of all time remain unquestioned.
